What Is Furrion?
Furrion makes RV electronics and appliances. RoveSpec currently carries Furrion Vision S wireless RV camera equipment, including a complete rear-camera system and replacement or additional monitors.
A camera system and a monitor-only product are different purchases. Confirm the exact Vision generation, camera and display model, RV preparation, power source, mounting location, signal path, included components, and full manufacturer part number.

What Furrion Products Does RoveSpec Carry?
RoveSpec currently carries a Vision S rear RV backup-camera system and 4.3-, 5-, and 7-inch Vision S monitor products. The live product card identifies whether a listing is a full system or a monitor.
| Product group | Primary job | Selection checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| Vision S camera system | Add a supported rear camera and in-cab display | Exact kit, RV prep, camera power, display, mount, signal path, and included components |
| Vision S 4.3-inch monitor | Display video from stated compatible Vision S equipment | Generation, supported camera count and functions, power, mount, and whether a camera is included |
| Vision S 5-inch monitor | Replacement or display component for stated systems | Exact part number and compatibility; monitor-only listings do not add a camera |
| Vision S 7-inch monitor | Larger display for stated compatible systems | Generation, camera pairing, power, mount, field of view, and included parts |

How Should You Choose a Furrion Product?
First determine whether you need a complete system or only a replacement monitor. Then match the exact Vision S generation, model numbers, RV preparation, camera locations, display size, features, power, mounting, and kit contents.
| Decision | Confirm | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase type | Complete camera kit, additional camera, or monitor-only replacement | That every monitor listing includes a camera |
| Compatibility | Vision S versus another generation, exact camera and monitor model, supported channels and features | That the Furrion name or connector shape proves pairing |
| RV installation | Prewire bracket and power, marker-light circuit behavior, mounting, clearance, cable route, and wireless signal path | That “prewired” confirms every component and function |
| Display | 4.3, 5, or 7-inch model, driver sight line, mount, power, controls, and camera count | That the largest display is correct for every cab |
04/14
Is a Furrion Vision S Monitor a Complete Camera System?
Not unless the exact listing says it includes the camera and required kit components. A replacement-monitor listing is a display component and must be matched to stated compatible Vision S camera equipment.
Read the current “what’s included” information and match the manufacturer part number. Confirm camera, display, windshield or dash mount, power cable, antenna, bracket, hardware, and adapters individually.
05/14
Which Furrion Vision S Monitor Size Should You Choose?
Choose among the supported 4.3-, 5-, and 7-inch Vision S models only after confirming exact camera compatibility, channel and feature support, driver sight line, mounting space, power, controls, and included accessories.
Screen diagonal alone does not establish function or compatibility. A replacement should be compared by complete part number and documented features, not by physical appearance or the Vision S family label.
06/14
What Does “Furrion Prewired” Mean on an RV?
It generally identifies a factory-provided camera location or preparation, but the owner still must identify the exact bracket and wiring, verify voltage and circuit behavior, and confirm the current camera kit is compatible.
Inspect the actual RV and its documentation. Confirm whether power follows marker lights or another circuit, whether the preparation is for rear or side cameras, what adapter or bracket is present, seal condition, antenna clearance, and the wireless path to the tow vehicle.
07/14
Are Furrion Vision S and Vision S+ Components Interchangeable?
Do not assume they are. Treat Vision S, Vision S+, and other Furrion generations as separate until the current manufacturer documentation explicitly lists the exact camera, monitor, adapter, and feature combination as compatible.
Generation affects pairing, controls, features, accessories, and support. Match complete part numbers and use current Lippert/Furrion documentation rather than relying on a shared brand name, screen size, or connector.
08/14
How Should Furrion Fitment and Sizing Be Verified?
Furrion camera fitment depends on the exact RV preparation, Vision generation, model numbers, electrical circuit, mounting location, wireless path, tow-vehicle display location, and kit contents—not only year, make, and model.
- Identify the complete camera, monitor, preparation-bracket, and RV model information.
- Inspect camera power, circuit behavior, voltage, fuse, polarity, bracket, fasteners, seal, and antenna clearance.
- Confirm the monitor’s generation, supported channels and features, power cable, mount, and driver sight line.
- Plan for RV length, metal structures, interference, articulation, and the actual wireless path.
- Match the complete Furrion part number and stated box contents to the RoveSpec SKU.
09/14
Why Do Exact Furrion Part Numbers Matter?
A Vision S family name or display size is not a compatibility key. Exact Furrion part numbers identify the generation, screen, camera support, functions, accessories, and kit contents.
Verify both ends of the system and every accessory. A monitor-only product can be valid for a supported replacement without being a complete backup-camera system.
10/14
What Should Be Confirmed Before Installing Furrion Products?
Follow the exact Furrion and RV instructions, isolate power before wiring, preserve seals, mount the camera and display securely, keep the driver’s view clear, and test the system through real tow-vehicle and trailer positions.
- Verify voltage, polarity, fuse, circuit operation, connectors, and power behavior before connection.
- Use the stated bracket and hardware; seal exterior penetrations with RV-compatible methods.
- Route and secure cables away from heat, sharp edges, moving parts, and water entry.
- Mount the display where it is visible without obstructing safe vehicle operation or airbags.
- Pair, configure, and test every camera in daylight, darkness, turns, and the normal towing position.
11/14
How Should a Furrion RV Camera System Be Used Safely?
Use camera video as an aid, not a replacement for mirrors, direct observation, a spotter, safe speed, or the driver’s responsibility to confirm the path is clear.
- Do not adjust, pair, or troubleshoot the monitor while driving when it would be unsafe.
- Confirm the camera view, lens condition, orientation, signal, and display mount before travel.
- Expect wireless performance to vary with distance, structures, interference, power, and vehicle position.
- Stop and directly inspect whenever the view is blocked, frozen, delayed, missing, or uncertain.
- Keep required clearance around marker lights, cameras, antennas, and exterior seals.
12/14
How Should Furrion Products Be Maintained and Supported?
Inspect the camera lens, antenna, bracket, exterior seal, wiring, monitor mount, power cable, display, and pairing regularly. Use only cleaning and service methods allowed by Furrion.
- Clean the lens and display without scratching coatings or forcing moisture into openings.
- Check exterior sealant, fasteners, wiring, connectors, antenna, and housing after vibration or weather exposure.
- Confirm the monitor remains secure and cables do not interfere with vehicle controls.
- Retest pairing, channels, video, night view, and circuit behavior before a trip.
- Keep model numbers, proof of purchase, serial information, and current support documents.
13/14
What Warranty Applies to Furrion Products?
Furrion warranty coverage is product-specific and subject to the current Lippert/Furrion document, proof of purchase, installation, use, exclusions, and claim procedure.
Verify the warranty attached to the exact camera or monitor part number. Do not infer that a system, replacement monitor, accessory, or another Furrion generation has the same term or coverage.
14/14
What Should You Confirm Before Ordering Furrion?
Confirm system versus monitor-only, Vision generation, exact camera and display numbers, RV preparation and power, display placement, wireless path, included parts, warranty, and live RoveSpec listing before ordering.
